| Loneliness is a horrible place to be in. I see myself falling deeper and deeper into loneliness every day that passes. I feel alone while surrounded by the ones that I love. No one can understand this feeling but a person that is going through the same thing that I'm going through. I have no one to reach out to; I feel completely alone in everything that I do in life. I am tired of the fight against life. I feel the need to give up but the fighter in me refuses to give up. It's a sick feeling that I feel inside. I hate what I'm becoming. Living with Borderline Personality Disorder is a constant struggle; ever changing moods and a million feelings that seem to flood me. I feel like I'm losing my mind slowly. This is a daily torture to my already fragile and tortured soul. | | |
| Life is weird to say the least. It's a wonder that I haven't lost my mind yet. A week ago my youngest daughter: who is bi-polar pulled a stunt that still has me baffled today. Let me explain briefly how it all happened. My youngest daughter is 12 and she likes to hang out in our street with her little friends. this one kid lives in the block before ours; which is not the best block around my area. She wanted to go over and since I don't like the block I originally said no. She had a fit and was acting out so I ignored the tantrum and went on about my day until she calmed down; well she didn't. Me second daughter who is 15 told me that she'd walk her there and back and I decided to allow the little one to visit her friend for an hour. By this time my daughter's tantrum had escalated and she grabbed a knife and in front of her sister she threatened to cut her veins. She's 12 years old! I was so pissed off but I kept my cool and called her to the living room where I extremely calmly and collected gave her a good talking to. After I said my lecture she sat back and understood that she was acting out of line. I still can't believe that she'd do something like that! | | |

| As I lay in bed I wondered why it is that Americans and its Politicians see the need to overlook American issues, yet see to it to try and fix the same issues in other countries; countries that in most cases are better off than we are? Each country has its own problems and financial difficulties and we are not the exception! The fact remains that each country is responsible for its own people's welfare. How can you help another when you can barely help yourself? Americans spends billions in trying to shelter the homeless, feed the staving and rebuild in other countries; but fails to see or purposely turn blind eyes to the poverty, hunger and destruction that we live with right here at home. Who are American's trying to impress? Surely not the American people that have to live under these conditions! It's no wonder that many Americans feel dislike or hatred towards other countries whom they feel are taking away from them! But it comes from here; the ignorance or our reality that we would rather help other countries than to take care of our own people first. OUR President has the right idea wether many Americans like him or not! He decided to start here with us. He is bringing values to the American people by starting with each and every household in America. Whatever happened to the god ole' American pride? Take a good look at your neighborhood and decide that for yourself. Start in your homes first before you stick your nose in someone elses' home. Stand on steady ground before you decide to help another. While cities are rebuilt in another country with our money, our streets are getting worst, our buildings are decaying and our people are going hungry and losing their homes. What will we become if we continue at this pace? This is my opinion and no one has to like it but I still feel the need to voice it out. | | |
| What is it that men really want? When I've asked my male friends about the women they want, I have often been told the following information. Mind you: these are average men talking about the women they prefer! Q: Do you want your partner or girlfriend to have real breasts or implants? A: They prefer the natural feel of a woman's breasts but if she is too small on top then they wouldn't mind a larger cup size. Q: Do you prefer a thin woman or an average sized woman? (Size 10-12) A: Most prefer a woman that has meat on her bones. (Something to grab on to!) Q: When it comes to the derriere (Butt), what do you want on a woman? A: Most prefer a woman with a butt although a small portion don't mind a dainty behind on a woman. Q: Do you prefer a woman that uses make-up? A: Most prefer a natural look to a woman with excessive amounts of make up. Q: What do you feel about high maintenance women? A: There was a 50-50 reply on this one. 50% replied they liked a woman that looks after herself but they don't want to pay for their maintenance, the other 50% replied they didn't like it because it only means waste of money and too much time to get ready. So having asked the very basic of questions regarding a woman's looks; my question is: Why do women put themselves through so many alterations to make themselves into mannequins? Many women feel that they have to look a certain way to attract the male population when in actuality they seem to be feeding their own insecurities. Why starve yourself or add elements to your body to make yourself something different? I don't want to hear about how your looks can get you more job opportunities or a better chance at finding a millionaire! There are more important factors such as education, and your ability to do your job without any of these elements added or taken away from your body and physical appearance. | | |
